First time visiting this place and I won’t be back. I ordered a macchiato, hot. When I received it it was not warm at all, it felt like a lukewarm coffee that had been sitting out for hours. I politely told them it was not hot. The blonde working at 9 am this morning handed it back to me, and in a condescending rude tone told me next time ask for it to be extra hot and proceeded to list out temperatures of their coffee. I mean, maybe next time just do it correctly the first time?? Perhaps it would save you the embarrassment of your mistake and you won’t have to resort to being rude to customers. Dunkin is low tier coffee but at least they know how to make a hot coffee and have respectful employees.

First time coming and it was a terrible first experience. I order the bacon and egg, cheese ciabatta sandwich. There was a slither of circle bacon and no cheese. I ordered a match and that was too sweet. I appreciated the pup cup offered though.

I have been meaning to try it for a while now and finally did today. Salted caramel macchiato is good (too sugary for my usual but that can be customized). Staff is friendly 😊

I recently visited Canal Coffee Company and wanted to share both my initial experience and my most recent one, because the difference was honestly surprising. The first time I came in, I ordered a matcha latte with almond milk, vanilla, and lavender. As someone who works as a barista, I really pay attention to flavor balance and drink quality—and I was genuinely impressed. The matcha was smooth, not bitter, and the combination of vanilla and lavender was done beautifully. It wasn’t overpowering, and everything blended together in a way that felt intentional and well-crafted. It stood out to me as one of the better matcha drinks I’ve had, and I left really excited to come back. Because of that great first experience, I returned and ordered the exact same drink, expecting that same quality. Unfortunately, this time it was a completely different experience. The drink lacked the flavor it had before—it tasted flat and unbalanced, and the distinct notes of vanilla and lavender were barely noticeable. I ordered DoorDash from here twice now. A coworker recommended this place and I decided to give it a try. I will say I was not at all disappointed. I’m a huge coffee person so this was the most important for me and it was incredible! The different selections they offer for flavor was really great. The coffee was absolutely delicious. The maple sausage sandwich I had was really tasty and warm and the flavors were a great combination. Lastly the cookie was really big and so chocolatey! Everything was perfect and it will now be my new favorite coffee spot! My only drawback was it is a little pricier than what I was used too but it was worth every penny and I will continue to order from here. I will also continue to highly recommend this place as it was recommended to me :).
